Join CI Games and be part of shaping the future of gaming. As we embark on an ambitious strategic roadmap with major releases planned for 2026-2028, we're seeking a talented and dedicated Gameplay Experience Specialist to help us create ground-breaking experiences that captivate players worldwide.
A career at CI Games is about being part of a team working on some of the most creatively rewarding and ambitious projects to be found in any entertainment medium. You would be welcomed to a dedicated and inclusive environment where you can learn and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Analysis & Player Insight
Monitor player feedback across social channels, outlining core issues and obtaining deep insights by reading "between the lines."
Analyse player behavior and sentiment to identify recurring themes, pain points, and emerging trends.
Provide actionable recommendations based on conducted analysis that address issues at their root.
Ensure absolute clarity regarding community requests for the development team.
Game Mechanics & Balancing
Provide deep insights into player motivations, engagement patterns, and the overall user experience.
Design and analyse tests for new features, ensuring mechanics are balanced and satisfying for our core audience.
Present analytical results both orally and visually to cross-departmental stakeholders.
Operational Support
Contribute to a wide range of cross-departmental tasks as needed to support the project's quality goals.
Maintain a logical, analytical, and methodical approach to problem-solving within the gameplay loop.
Let's be honest!
On occasions, this role may be challenging.
You will be the voice of the player, which often means delivering tough feedback to the team to ensure the best possible final product.
Analysing "between the lines" requires a high degree of empathy and critical thinking; it’s about more than just reading comments - it's about understanding player psychology.
As a remote contributor, you must be a master of self-management and proactive communication to stay aligned with the team.
Agility is one of our core values; we move fast to stay ahead, so you’ll need to be comfortable adapting your focus and delivering high-quality insights even when deadlines are short.
Key Requirements:
A proven record of 1000+ hours in the Soulslike genre; we need someone who understands the "language" of these games intimately.
A logical, analytical, and methodical approach to problem-solving.
Professional fluency in English; you’ll be working within an international team and need to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Ability to present data and results in a clear, concise manner.
High degree of self-management and comfort working in a 100% remote environment.
Availability during our core working hours: 10am – 4pm CET.
Desirable:
"Out-of-the-box" thinking and a creative approach to gameplay analysis.
Previous experience in game development or QA.
What we offer:
Full-time, part-time, freelance or volunteer opportunity.
Attractive remuneration and annual discretionary bonus.
Generous benefits supporting your wellbeing.
Opportunities for professional development within a supportive and collaborative team.
Remote work with flexible schedules (core working hours 10am-4pm CET), allowing you to work alongside talented individuals from around the world.
An opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and stay at the forefront of the gaming industry.
A diverse and inclusive workplace that celebrates all backgrounds, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or social status.
Company events and wrap-up parties, access to all games released by CI Games and company merchandise.
A chance to be part of something ground-breaking as we shape the future of gaming.
We are an equal opportunities employer, hiring and developing our best talent based on merit. Accessibility is at the heart of our games, and we are committed to not discriminating against people based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or social status.
